Hi A new transcriber sent her 1st file to me this morning which wouldn't open so I opened it in notepad only to find that it was in a long string as though wordwrap had not been selected. Why does this happen and what changes do I need to get the transcriber to make for the file to arrive normally I was able to fiddle around and make it into an opening file. Thanking you Debz N Z
