    3. Hi Is there a time limit on a Syndicate's Add Users page? I'm trying to add transcribers (that I naughtily deleted - I will never delete a transcriber again, I will never delete a transcriber again X 100) but after a while I get thrown back to the login page. AAArrrrrrrgh! Teri

    3. Hi Teri, Yes the syndicate maintainance pages are controlled by a cookie we set when you login. It contains a time which we check for. If that has expired then we will throw you back to the login page. We could look at setting a refresh on it .. I didn't realise we didn't have it, it was so long ago we wrote that code ! .. I don't think I have had anyone else have the problem, I guess you are just doing a lot of work on the screen... The timeout seems to be set to 1 hour . Are you getting timeouts after an hour or after less than an hour. There could be a bug in there ... Cheers Graham Gypsy wrote: > > Hi > > Is there a time limit on a Syndicate's Add Users page? 3. G'day Graham It may well have been over an hour each session...I was actually there around 3 hours! It's no big deal. I just wondered why I got thrown out 3 times - now I know ;) I seem to have a problem with that whole page. To add 4 new people can take me at least half an hour as it's the slowest working page on FreeBMD for me! Never mind, I can live with it. If you want to change something, how about making that horrible little box where all my transcribers names are a bit bigger and that the names list in alphabetical order...please? Cheers Ever hopeful Teri ;) ps what happens if I set my browser to not accept cookies - would I still get thrown out? 3. Another co-ordinator was having problems because he had his cookies disabled (through choice), I did mention to the team on 7 August for some advice. Perhaps the Syndicate login screen should mention that cookies must be enabled. Showing my age, mention of cookies takes me back to 77 Sunset Strip and Eddie Byrnes (or whatever his name was).
