Its the general genealogical rule ... where possible check back to originals. FreeBMD is an transcription and will have errors. If possible people should try to check back on fiche or something to see whether they agree with the entry before ordering. I suspect a lot won't and some will not get their certificate. The indexes are available in a lot of libraries worldwide and people can check. Obviously, it would be nice to link to the scans and we intend to do that in the future. But people -should- check if they have a chance.
