You can download pdf files of certificate requests. If ONS are keen to have people include a FreeBMD mention would they allow us to have versions of these pdf files on our site with the mention already included? It would in any case be useful to update our page to give a bit more explanation of the ordering process and to include getting certificates from local offices pointing out that the GRO references are not necessarily valid at local offices. Personally I have scanned in the paper version of these certificates (which is, of course, different from the pdf version :-) and have Word documents set up with fields so I can easily fill in the "paper" form electronically and fax it to the ONS. Would the ONS be amenable to a version that was "fax friendly"? OK, one step at a time! Barrie
