Not having done a search for several months I don't recall what is actually shown in a search result but I was wondering about something along these lines: "Would it be possible to append to each search result a note that it was the result of a FreeBMD search and may well contain transcription errors - either from the original source or during transcription itself." I'd imagine that many people do a cut and paste of their search so this could ensure that not only were they reminded of possible errors but the ONS would also see it on any request. Of course, it may not be feasible but I'll leave that for the programmers to comment -- Philip Powell
