As a transcriber, I feel the need to reply to this e-mail. In some cases the 1837 on-line scans are better than the ones FreeBMD uses and should not be fully discounted. However, if the original is bad then both 1837 and FreeBMD have trouble. Hi, I've been using MacBMD and have been wondering for ages what 'EPH' in the status window means/represents. I know that 'Entries' shows the number of entries since last opening the program but the number in 'EPH' seems to change randomly and I can't work it out. Would some SKS explain and put me out of my misery? Julie -- Scan2 Member No 2889
Yes, I had wondered too! Could the answer be posted to the list please. Could EPH mean Entries Per Hour? Only a guess as I don't have MacBMD, but would fit with the no. changing randomly, depending on the speed of typing. Loraine
