Ted Ah! that is why I couldn't find the information on any of the FreeBMD Web Pages. I can't believe it is over 8 years since I set up your Syndicate. Speaking personally if we can get everyone to speak from the same hymn sheet then there is less chance of something going awry. In other words I would much prefer if the instructions issued by Coordinators to their volunteers were consistent with those on the FreeBMD site. I do appreciate the other problem you mention about the page number format. I'm sure the "clerks" who prepared the index from which we are transcribing didn't all work from the same hymn sheet which means we have to keep coming up with suitable suggestions on how best to deal with the problems caused by these "clerks".
