Since I no longer have access to a WINDOWS based machine, I am now using EXCEL to transcribe the data. The problem I am having is with the header details. I can copy the details from a previous file and amend accordingly, which is fine. But I was wondering is there a way you can enter the HEADER DATA into EXCEL. Then save as a CSV FILE for upload to FreeBMD. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Keith

Keith, Enter each field into a separate cell then save the file as type .csv. I got the above by doing as you did and opening an existing transcription file as a spreadsheet. You can upload a csv file using File Management <http://www2.freebmd.org.uk/cgi/bmd-files.pl> (File Management does not care about the extension of your browse file).
