    2. Just for clarification, when you note that you've tried shutting down the computer, do you mean that you've gone as far as switching the power off at the wall socket, or instigating a reboot within the oprating system? Network cards have a nasty habit of retaining their settings during a reboot. Powering down the computer should be sufficient, switching off power at the wall socket should* be a clincher. * I add this caveat... VOIP phones don't necessarily have power blocks (well, not the ones I use), they draw sufficent power from the network. To discount this effect it might also be worthwhile removing the computer's network cable too; not forgetting to reseat it before powering up again. I tested a force close on WinBMD - not something I like doing on any application. WinBMD does not appear to load dependent modules when it's run, though my test wasn't an exhaustive one. When restaring the program one is faced with a notification... "Error Recovery - WinBMD is reloading the last batch" Forcing close didn't appear to introduce further corruption - the file was as I expected it to be; though I wasn't recovering from an unstable position in the first place. I am unable to check upload connection issues at present as I'm not close to completing a file (insert embarrassed emoticon here) Hope this helps, Grev. > Something funny has happened to my WinBMD. 3. I had this problem when trying to save to a media card that had accidentally been locked and not been noticed. It also made it impossible to close files or anything else in Win BMD. It could therefore be associated with a file that has been set to "read only" or some such. Hope this helps. Regards, Dave Geer.
