Is there a problem with the scan site as I am having trouble downloading a full scan 1857M4M0228. Not sure whether its my computer as I haven't seen any mention if this and its been going on for about 24 hours Regards Debbie Valentine

I wonder if you have now managed to download it. I tried by going to "View Images" rather than via the usual list of scans available for transcription. It is a double page scan which I downloaded as a pdf image. As a pdf it is a large image which even on a fast broadband connection took a while to download. If you are using "dial-up" the size of the file may be the problem. The good news is that once you do manage to download it - it's easy to read.
