I've seen the answer to this somewhere but I cannot find it. The problem is that after completion of the header form in WinBMD the transcriber is unable to enter data and is presented with the Error Message : 'run time error '5'. Invalid procedure call or argument.' Does anyone have the solution to the problem? TIA Derek

We have just recovered from this problem for the first time. Getting no response from sending the Winbmd.ini file to Ian -he is probably on holiday - I used the sledge-hammer approach and asked my transcriber to download the zipped version of Winbmd from our syndicate website http://www.pingramsyndicate.org/ and I provided him with a small file that would open in the program. He is now up and running. I guess all that we have done is to correct some installation error. Jeff may well be right, on another reply, that the Internet connection may have been broken during installation. The zipped file would not need the connection to be maintained.
