    3. Please tell whomever put me on "THE LIST" to take me off! This is not to un-subscribe to the Free BMD communications list, but a more recent "enhancement" which has resulted in me getting dozens of e-mails from all over the world, requesting help/assistance/clarification/new scans/ etc.........I am just a lonely, slowly, lowly transcriber who is considering adding ALL FreeBMD communications to the "spam" filter! Is this problem common only to the Scan2 syndicate? Help! Ted Warwick __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo! 3. All you need to do is send an email to FreeBMD-Admins-L-request@rootsweb.com with the subject 'unsubscribe' and the only text 'unsubscribe' Then you will be automatically removed from this list. You may have sent a message to subscribe to it without realising that you had done so. 3. Jeff, The gentleman is happy to be on the Admins List, he seems to be getting Co-ordinator mails meant for Derek. There haven't been dozens of mails in the last few weeks to the FreeBMD lists - I know, I am subscribed to them all. And new scan requests don't usually come to the lists. The traffic Ted is getting is not normal List mail. If he unsubscribes from the Admin list, he may well continue to get the abnormal stuff anyway, and not a chance to tell anyone about the problem! Has Derek set up a re-direction and chosen the wrong address from his address book perhaps? Or another transcriber in the syndicate? The above isn't very helpful, sorry, I just hope it isn't that Derek has made the mistake just before leaving for a month-long holiday. :-) -- Anne ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jeff Coleman" <jeff.coleman@ntlworld.com> To: <FreeBMD-Admins-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Wednesday, August 31, 2005 9:53 PM Subject: Re: S.O.S > All you need to do is send an email to > FreeBMD-Admins-L-request@rootsweb.com > > with the subject 'unsubscribe' and the only text 'unsubscribe' > > Then you will be automatically removed from this list. > > You may have sent a message to subscribe to it without realising that you > had done so. > > Jeff > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Tedand Joan Warwick" <jntwar@yahoo.com> > To: <FreeBMD-Admins-L@rootsweb.com> > Sent: Wednesday, August 31, 2005 9:27 PM > Subject: S.O.S > > >> Please tell whomever put me on "THE LIST" to take me off!
