I am a transcriber but found this problem when doing research. Where do I report it? A search for the birth of Alice Nixon in Barnsley in 1890 gives the following result :- Births Dec 1890 Nixon Alice Barnsley 9c 181 No problem with that, but the spectacles icon points to file :- LDS-211-000-0951141/1890b4-349.tif This does not contain the entry for Alice Nixon because of the way the pages were scanned. LDS-211-000-0951141/1890b4-347.tif contains pages 347 (NEW) & 350 (NIS - NOR) LDS-211-000-0951141/1890b4-349.tif contains pages 349 (NIC-NIS) & 352 (NOR-NUT) LDS-211-000-0951141/1890b4-351.tif contains pages 351 (NOR) & 354 (O'CO - OLD) When asked the following question the answer has to be "Reject" because page 350 does not follow 349. "You can help future researchers by reporting whether a scan does or does not contain the entry by using the buttons below after you have viewed the scan. Use Confirm if the scan does contain the entry and Reject if it does not." I suspect that the problem cannot be fixed without rescanning, but it will result in a lot of rejection reports where the actual data is correct. John Wood (laschapas)
