Jayne It is most probable you have misunderstood the process. By virtue of the fact that you posted on this FreeBMD Admin List you are subscribed to it. This list is for "Questions and Answers forum for transcribers and volunteers." However this is completely different to the requirement to enable you to transcribe for FreeBMD. To do this you need to join visit our joining page at: http://freebmd.rootsweb.com/cgi/list-synd.pl?reader=0 and email one of the Syndicate Co-ordinator to join their Syndicate. You will then be supplied with information to enable you to be registered on FreeBMD and commence the transcription process.
