Through some of my contacts I have had a response from Ancestry and they will update the number shown. They said that the number that they had current was a touch over 90 million. The discussion of the number at Ancestry and their current number is not the most relevant topic and it would be nice to draw it to a close. Thanks. Andrew With the greatest respect, I think it is very relevant that FreeBMD, in times of difficulty, is giving the impression that its users may access a copy of its database on Ancestry, when in fact that copy is 12 months out of date and missing 17% of the current record total. My original question remains: Does anyone know when Ancestry is planning to update its copy? I intend to say no more on the matter, but an answer would be welcome.
