As a newbie to FreeBMD transcribing I am curious as to the thinking behind the registering of time spent transcribing at the bottom of the data entry form. After a period spent getting to grips with the viewer, etc. I noticed an unconciousable time clocked up in this field. Is the time registered here clocked up for/against me somewhere in the system? It is purely for your use when using WinBMD. I assume some transcribers could use the clock to let them know when to take a break during their transcribing efforts. This information isn't available to anyone else and most certainly isn't clocked by the central system when you upload your File to FreeBMD.
