    3. Hi Barry, With equal respect, this list is simply not the place for the ongoing discussion. This list is primarily for transcribers and transcription issues, and if you want to have a discussion that belongs on our list FreeBMD-Discuss. The updating of the index on Ancestry is a business decision of that company. Their business decisions on which order they import data into their systems and update their global indices has to lie with them. [I believe that they have been concentrating on the census records.] If you wish to address the matter to them, the email address is support@ancestry.com alternatively they have a message board at Boards > Topics > Ancestry.com > Ancestry Site Comments http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec?htx=admin.board&r=rw&p=topics.ancestry.ancsite No one outside of Ancestry, and I doubt outside of the immediate team doing the work at Ancestry, will know. Definitely none of the transcribers here. Definitely not me.
