I am an AOL UK user and have been for 10 years or so, think I have only ever lost 1 or 2 mails, its rare mail I want is treated as spam, but if it is, then it goes to my spam folder. maybe aol usa is different, although I have spent a lot of time there and used aol usa with no problems Julie

I think people are getting confused about the difference between their own spam folder created by programmes such as Norton, and a folder on NTL / AOL. If an email is deposited in the recipients spam folder then it has been received but placed in the wrong folder. Most ISP's filter programmes block the email when received at the server and discard them immediately. As far as I am aware there is no way that these are retrievable. John.
