    3. Hi Bob: I was almost that 'brave person'. As it happens Karen and I are on the same team and only yesterday I was transcribing p. 355 of the (handwritten) 1862 June Deaths and came across two specimens of the weird surname Burnchinshaw, listed between Burchill and Burchmore. I thought of solving the out-of-sequence problem by transcribing it as Bur_chinshaw, but perhaps now, seeing Karen has come across the place where the clerk thought it ought to appear (assuming the first 'n' was really correct) I shall show it without the underscore but take your advise and put a #THEORY mark on the following line as you suggest. 3. In the scans I am doing at the moment I have found several that have a persons name in for example as Jones or Smith. Am I doing right by entering the same information twice, but once in the name of Smith, and once in the name of Jones. I would appreciate some advice on this for future.
