    3. Hi Barry Thanks for your comments, I'll see if I can answer your queries. 1. Our Homepage at: http://freebmd.rootsweb.com/ mentions "PLEASE NOTE: WE HAVE NOT YET TRANSCRIBED THE WHOLE INDEX. A breakdown by event and year can be viewed here", clicking the "here" button and then Marriages (takes you to: http://freebmd.rootsweb.com/progressM.shtml ) shows that transcriptions/uploads for 1882 March Marriages is just over 90& complete. Therefore, we have not yet completed this event/period and still have about another 10% of the Index to transcribe before we complete it which means a 10% probability of not being able to get a marriage match. 2. I've carried out a check of the files uploaded for 1882 March Marriages and currently there are about 17 pages of the Index not yet transcribed and uploaded to FreeBMD for this event/period, which equates to about 6400 individuals entries. Your missing individual Ann Roast is amongst these 6400 individuals as I've just checked the Index for the missing pages. 3. We don't actively encourage visitors to our site to report instances of marriage mismatch such as that identified by you otherwise we could/would be swamped by the sheer volume of reports, as many as 6400 reports for 1882 March Marriages alone. 4. We have a process in place to identify missing transcription of pages of the Index which means we can pick up to 375 missing individuals in one go rather than working our way through an equivalent 375 separate reports from individuals. 5. I won't be requesting insertion of your missing volunteer to our database, but better still I will be requesting completion of the outstanding 17 pages comprising the 6400 or so missing marriage partners. However, there has been a number of times where I have not been able to find the information I am seeking. This usualy occures where your site shows only one side of a marriage entry. In this instance, I have located my relations on several of the Census - 1901, 1891 and 1881. I have also purchases Childrens Birth certificates in order to confirm Father and Mother details. I have searched your site to locate the Marriage of the Mother and Father only to find several possible entries for the Father, all with a possible partner missing. As I have copies of the Childrens Birth certificates I know that those Female partners listed are not my'n. There are no entries for the Mothers details that match my,n. So I have successfully worked my way through the 1837 Site, Marriage entries under the Mothers name to find a corrisponding entry to one of your Sites Fathers entries. I then checked the 1837 Site under the Fathers name and got a corrisponding entry. The details are as follows: On your Site and on the 1837 Site - Father: Marriage - March 1882 James Sullivan Stepney 1c 679 On 1837 Site only - Mother: Marriage - March 1882 Ann Roast Stepney 1c 679 Could you please submit to your Site, the corrisponding entry for the Marriage of Ann Roast to the already recorded entry of James Sullivan. Full details listed above. I understand the need to check and comfirm these details before posting them. I think it may be helpful to your Site and to Other Users, if you could make a point of entry into your site, where this sort of information could be left. So that you can confirm and enter the details at a later date. I hope that you do not think that I am being to pushy. Keep up the good work. Kindest regards, Barry Sullivan
