Hi I have someone within my syndicate who has problems downloading scans that have been allocated to them. Most of the time they download a scan, it somehow ends up as either an ART or BMP file. And the few that have stayed in the right format can't be opened anyway. I have already suggested Infranview to them as they have no other graphic related programmes on their computer, but this made no difference. They are using Windows ME. Any suggestions as to the cause of the problem, and how to resolve it. Thanks
Hi Chris A google search suggested an AOL compression thingy. Here's a web site that tells you how to get around these ARTY types. http://www.clipart.com/en/support/showdoc?ID=1109 good luck Bob Phillips ----- Original Message ----- From: "Chris Mahoney" <cmahoney@orcon.net.nz> To: <FreeBMD-Admins-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Friday, September 09, 2005 11:05 PM Subject: Downloading Scans > Hi > > I have someone within my syndicate who has problems downloading scans that have been allocated to them. > > Most of the time they download a scan, it somehow ends up as either an ART or BMP file.
