You will see an email address at the foot of that page for the 'maintainer' of that GENUKI web page. I suggest that you get in touch with that person, to whom I am copying this email. Where registers for different parishes and sub-districts have been divided up between different modern Register Offices, unless the researcher knows with some certainty where the event occurred, it seems sensible that they should apply to the ONS, for which http://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/research/investigatingyourfamilytree/index.asp is a good starting point.
