I am presently transcribing a scan (1854D2J0877) where the surname and forenames are unreadable on the last part of the page. The districts and page numbers are easy to read and I can transcribe them without problem. I know that the surname is the same on the whole page and it follows on the next scan, however, following the rule of TWY, I feel I must put * in the surname section. I'm assuming then that these entries will not appear on Free BMD at all without a first and last name. Am I transcribing correctly by inserting * for surname and forename.
