    3. Hi On your correction page you show the image where the transcription was taken from. How can one view these images especially the one here>> [The entry below is contained in a file called PM1898_011_001 which may give you a clue as to which index page to view] As I would like to check its entry as I believe the Page and Volume to be incorrect. The corrections page shows the file name, because this *often* gives a clue as to which page the transcription is taken from. It doesn't always do so (which is why it says "may") In this case, the file name doesn't give any clue. This usually means that the record was transcribed direct from fiche rather than from a scanned image. In such cases we may or may not have a copy of the page available on-line. You need to go to; http://images.freebmd.org.uk/cgi/choose.pl and browse for the image. If the image isn't there, we can give no indication of when it might become available. -- Dave Mayall
