Ten days ago I transcribed 1857 June Marriages page 0514. The Header Source/Scan Ref was ACDB-03/A-D. Today I started to transcribe another page 0514 this time with Header Source/Scan Ref was ACDB-03/L-R. At first I received an error saying file already existed and did I want to delete it. Being not sure what the outcome of this would be I answered no, saved the file to floppy and then deleted it from my hard drive. Success, or so I thought. When I then tried to upload the one I had just completed I now get "Error in Upload. There is already a file on FreeBMD which you have uploaded with that name. Do you want to replace it with this one?" As these are two separate files what course of action do I take please?
Hi Derek I assume you are using WinBMD. If you enter the first letter of the Surname in the "surname first Letter" box in the header details form then the file names will be different.
