Help please. I have the following name Reidhaven (Viscount) Charles John Frank The viscount is in the surname column, but of course WinBMD wont allow me to use brackets in surname column. Do I put Viscount after the surname without brackets or after the forenames in brackets? Thanks Julie
Personally I would do what I have done where there is an oblique slash in a handwritten correction (WinBMD doesn't like that either). a) transcribe "Viscount" in the surname column but without the brackets, (make a note of the line) b) upload the file and then c) go into it through file management on the website and put the brackets in the right places. It works for the oblique stroke, so I would imagine it would work for the brackets. Unless anyone has a better suggestion - I'm sure someone more technical than me will tell you if this isn't possible.
