There is a bug in version 4 WinBMD which will give a warning that a "?" should be the only character in a field when it is either the district name and/or the volume number which is missing but it will accept the entry. However the comma does still have to be there, unlike the example shown below which should read "Suinthorpe,?" (without my quotes). This bug is fixed in version 5.
