Hi At the end of the PARKER entries in scan 1888B20400.tif there's some MALE and FEMALE entries - the very last one has ? for the name entry - they obviously didn't know which gender How do we enter the ? please - do we treat it as the field's empty or edit it in Notepad? Something different? Hooroo Teri

    3. Teri Enter what you see, I can't honestly say if it is a ? or some other character. But there some brackets around the character so it would be transcribed similar to (?). The use of ? normally denotes an empty field, however the use of ? in the above situation is an exception to this rule.
