    3. Unless you tell us which scan it is, we can't advise you properly ;-( My guess is E. Ham,5A in the district 'box' and See S/50 in the page number box. East Ham is a district created after 1930 when numbering was different. However, Type What You See is the golden rule. WinBMD won't accept a / character in the district field but will accept it in the page number field. No need to use ? for the volume number, as it is there, 5A. http://freebmd.rootsweb.com/vol_faq.html#6q applies.
