I am having problems with downloading files from the website at the moment. Using Internet Explorer 7 I have been used to logging on to www.freeBMD.org.uk <http://www.freebmd.org.uk/> and then the page I need - at the moment http://images.freebmd.org.uk/GUS/1862/Deaths/December/UKD-02/H-S/. Having selected the page I need I right-click on the scan to be downloaded - however at the moment the "Save target as ." option is greyed out so not able to be selected. How can I change this. This has been happening for the last week or so - I noted it when uploading the 1863 scans for correction but managed to save them by a two-step process from opening the image and then saving it. It's complicated though and if I can get back to where I was and upload things normally it would make it much easier. I found last night that I was able to download scans through the FreeBMD images page so I can download but it is not quite as convenient. It may be a something in my Internet settings that has changed that prevents me downloading files, but when I haven't been able to identify anything on Microsoft that can help me. I am using Microsoft Internet Explorer 2003, Windows XP 2003 and Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 for e.mail communications. How can I get around this? I have already asked Melda Brunette, my syndicate co-ordinator, who suggested that I forward the query to the Admin list for help. Charlotte Burton-Bell Wellington NZ 6004
