I suppose the question should be asked? Why is there a need to add a reason why the entry is incorrect. I've copied the last requirement from the "Entry correction" page "When completing the source field, please just tell us, in as few words as possible, where you found the information. Lengthy explanations, or worse still spirited advocacy supporting the correction are unhelpful." Therefore, once you've completed the appropriate correction(s) boxes against the record plus inserted the source reference it should be possible for our Corrections Co-ordinator to validate the correction request. If you would like to have another attempt at submitting the correction request but this time only included details of the source (i.e GRO fiche) your request should be accepted.
