I've recently started transcribing 1931 marriages. BMDVerify appears not to know the format of these pages and consequently does not align the columns consistently. Is there anything I can do to improve on this, such as modify a configuration file or install a new version? My current version is 3.0.0/290605. Thanks, Bob Bowman
Bob, This problem was raised earlier this year and is a known issue. You may wish to read the response from Jeff Coleman: http://archiver.rootsweb.ancestry.com/th/read/freebmd-admins/2008-10/1224083348 The current version of BMDVerify is 3.0.3/3110006 although I don't think it fixes the alignment problem. It can be downloaded from this page: http://bmdverify.itendia.co.uk/bmdv3/bmdv3.html John. Robert Bowman wrote: > I've recently started transcribing 1931 marriages.
