Thank you Bill. Both '_{0,1}d' and '_d' have been suggested by FreeBMD 'officials'. However, neither seems totally correct (to me at least). I have settled on '_d' followed by a #COMMENT and will leave it that way unless my syndicate coordinator asks me to change it. John.
