    3. I posted this message on the Discuss list on Dec 22nd. It is there in the archive but doesn't seem to have been sent out. "I think that the FreeBMD database is now set up so that it doesn't record an entry as having been double keyed if both transcribers are from the same syndicate. There is a problem with this when a transcriber has worked for more than one syndicate. For instance 1878 births were transcribed first by Scan2 and then by the Ian Brooke syndicate. At least one transcriber transcribed for Ian Brooke before moving to Scan2: so when that transcriber did the first transcription for Scan2, the software thinks that she was working for Ian Brooke, and the entry is not put in bold type. Is there an automatic way of resolving this, or would it be easier to ask coordinators to indicate where this has happened?" Christopher Richards

    3. We are looking at ways of handling people who are in more than one syndicate. This will require a bit of coding, so won't happen overnight. 2008/12/29 Christopher M Richards <[email protected]> > I posted this message on the Discuss list on Dec 22nd.
