I transcribe mostly the old hand-written scans where for deaths there is no "age at death" and consequently the district name ends up close to the forename while the volume number is beside the page number for all events pre-1880s or so. It would be really useful to be able to have a blank field to bring district name and volume number beside one another as they appear in later volumes. The columns do not space out properly, as they do on similar scans from the 1920s. A fix which resolves this problem has been prepared and beta-tested but there is some delay in making it fully available.
