    3. Richard You've got me confused? You are looking for missing entries for Emery in 1844 Dec Deaths but you run Upload Report for 1844 Dec Births? Your missing entries in 1844 Dec Deaths were transcribed as EME_Y due to an original poor scan. A rescan http://images.freebmd.org.uk/GUS/1844/Deaths/December/UKD-01/1844D4-0203-rescan.JPG significantly improves on the original scan. This will allows the file containing these entries to be corrected. I'll request the Co-ordinator off list to arrange for the file to be amended. As an aside Upload Report shows files 44B40951 to 0956 and 44B40958 to 0961 to have been uploaded to FreeBMD back in 2004 and 44B40957 in 2006. Allan Raymond ----- Original Message ----- From: "Richard Oliver" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Saturday, October 18, 2008 9:40 PM Subject: December Quarter 1844 - did noone die? I've just done a search for a fairly common surname (Emery) for Deaths, 1844, All Quarters, All Districts. The first three Quarters produce several dozen deaths - but December has zero. And yet the charts suggest 1844D4 is completely transcribed.... Upload Report shows a number of Files missing from the line-up: 44B40951 to 0956 and 44B40958 to 0961 - this would account for the gap. Were they missed, or were they illegible?
