Hello, Can anyone tell me how to get the special characters, that appear in the foreign names, e's with little marks above. I can see them on my keyboard, but what do I press to use them????? Thanks.
If you have an accented letter such as the first 'e' in Renee, in WinBMD, put the cursor where you want the accented e. Press the f4 key and a little table of special characters should appear. select the one you want and double-click the mouse. That should insert it. Remove any unwanted unaccented letter. Details are in the WinBMD help menu. You can drag out the corners of the table of special characters. Occasionally the table becomes very large and difficult to get rid of. In that situation closing WinBMD with Save Batch and Exit and then re-starting it should solve the problem.
