    1. Re: WINBMD Output file
    2. Bob Phillips
    3. Hi All I want to add my tuppenny worth to this. I have not used Vista but I have been involved in using a common program amongst an internet group. The vista users in the group had similar problems to those presently encountered with WinBMD. As I see it it is the Windows Users policies that causes the problem - nothing to do with where you install the program. If there are multiple users on a PC then Windows will put all individual users program settings and documents in that awful "Documents and Settings" folder in a user folder. Multiple users will be the setting if there is just one user and Admin. It is difficult to reset the computer to just an Admin setting once it is set up with users. My experience of many fresh computer installations tells me it is difficult to set up windows consistently so this User action is consistent. I reckon a Dell set-up may act differently from a HP set-up. good luck Bob Phillips ----- Original Message ----- From: "Keith Franklin" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, November 20, 2008 6:24 PM Subject: RE: WINBMD Output file >I use Vista and have installed WinBMD under c:/users/keith//winbmd.
