I'm probably too old to worry about the day I have Vista installed and am very content with XP. With all this debate on Vista has anyone actually contacted Microsoft and sought a solution ?? It seems strange that some people have this Vista problem and others don't. I have no technical knowledge so I can't take this any further. Regarding all the debate about WinBMD etc and Vista, I have a 'desk top' PC running Windows Xp Corporate edition with SP2 and a laptop running Vista Ultimate Edition with SP1 and I use both at various times for transcribing. I have found no problems whatsoever with the Xp machine or the 'Vista' machine running any of the FreeBMD programs. Whether or not is is because I am using the 'larger' (corporate and Ultimate) versions of Xp and Vista as opposed to the usual inexpensive pre-installed 'home' editions, I don't know. Perhaps someone on the technical staff could investigate this possibility. Regards to all, Brian
