I have just restarted transcribing after a break of 12 months. I am using WinBMD on Vista. My first scans are 1934 Marriages which have two columns of 80 lines. However, the Scan Viewer ruler stops after only 75 lines. Have I done something wrong in setting up? Graham

If you are using the ruler, at the top of the scan view window there appears a message 'Move Ruler to Top of Column'. Click on this when you get to the end of the first column and it will jump back to the top. Scroll the window to the right to the top of the second column and adjust if need be to get it under the first entry. This problem would possibly suggest you aligned/calibrated the ruler and then zoomed into the scan. To overcome the difficulty zoom into the scan and then align/calibrate the ruler.
