Hello David and June, Could that be a misprint of Haslingden and the code is 8e? >From Doug ----- Original Message ----- From: "David Jones" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Sunday, May 31, 2009 6:47 AM Subject: 1936M2A0009 > Towards the end of this scan there is an entry > Alderson Herbert Hargreaves looks like Hallingden,8c 371 > This does not appear on the Genuki lists, suggestions please. >>From David and June in Gosport > FreeBMD-Admins mailing list - archive > http://archiver.rootsweb.com/th/index/freebmd-admins > FreeBMD http://freebmd.rootsweb.com/ > > ------------------------------- > To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to > [email protected] with the word 'unsubscribe' without > the quotes in the subject and the body of the message > > __________ NOD32 4116 (20090529) Information __________ > > This message was checked by NOD32 antivirus system. > http://www.eset.com > >
It is clearly Hallingden and possibly 8c from the scan so you need to type that (TWYS). You can put a #Theory line below if you have an idea as to what it should be. It looks to me as if it could be Haslingden for which the correct volume number would be 8e rather than 8c. The name therefore is quite possibly it is a typographic mistake and could be meant to be Haslingden, and it may be that it is 8e but not very clear from the scan.
