Dear Nancy I expect you know that this sort of message only occurs if you have chosen the option to invite correspondence on the entries you have submitted . This may have been the default choice at one time, but has not been for a number of years. Go to 'File Management' on the FreeBMD transcribers' page, logging in with your submitter ID and password (both case sensitive) and scroll down to 'Modify your submitter details' at lower left. There you will see three choices under 'Privacy': Do not reveal my name (Submitter ID will still be shown) Reveal my name but not my email address Show my email address and invite correspondence on the entries I have submitted You only get this sort of message if you have chosen the last option. If you move your choice to one of the others the messages from database users will stop. Click on 'Update' after making the change and confirm it if need be. Simple as that.
