It is possible to report a missing page by using the existing Corrections procedure by referring to the last entry on the preceding page and following the instructions on the correction request page. Occasionally pages which are thought to be missing have actually been transcribed, but a mistranscription or the use of uncertain character format in the surname has made it difficult to find the entries. If you think you have discovered that a complete page is missing in a quarter that is marked as >99% complete, you may wish to research which scan is involved ( by looking at entries nearby in the alphabet that have been transcribed and using the 'spectacles' icon to see the scan reference) and to communicate that information to the co-ordinator of the syndicate concerned. You can find which syndicate is doing which quarters by looking at the link '.Allocations Pages' under 'Volunteer Support & Resources' on the FreeBMD transcribers' page. This route should not be used to report simple transcription errors, for which the normal correction request procedure should be followed. If you would like to send me off-list the details of what you think is missing I will be happy to check, and follow up if necessary.
