    3. In the past I have filed corrections (following your instructions) and had them accepted. Elsewhere I have used post-its and they work fine. But how do I report omissions. I have found two relatives by the tedious method of searching each quarter of the indexes and checked that they are not returned by FreeBMD. I can't find any way to report this but I feel that your generally quite excellent website would benefit from these corrections. Regards Ray Oakley

The only case where it is an error is where other records on the same page of the index have been transcribed, indicating that a part page is missing. If the second applies, you should submit a correction to another entry on the same page, and follow the instructions on the corrections form regarding missing entries. If no other entries on that index page are on-line, you simply need to be patient. The page will be transcribed eventually. -- Dave Mayall
