    3. I've noticed that too. I've found that in general it's easier to add the multiple initial "name" to the picklist, simply to prevent being alerted again if the same combination of initials crops up on a future page. But you're quite right, Keith - WinBMD does not save the final initial. Is there any way this could be corrected? Sue ----- Original Message ----- From: "Keith Partridge" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, January 23, 2009 5:02 PM Subject: RE: Illegal Spaces in Initials Hi, A sort of linked problem, but if WinBMD is going to be looked at perhaps this could be too. But this is going to get very confusing so I apologise in advance... Taking the example Chris has used, if you choose to save the "C.J." as a new name to use again, when you select the saved item in future the final full stop is dropped. So if you had saved the "C.J." and later on came across the entry Smith, Margaret C.J. you would enter in the forename field "Margaret " then the key sequence is c/./backspace/[numeric key relating to C.J.] IMHO that should work, but WinBMD replaces the final full stop with a space so you need to hit backspace and re-enter the full stop. If we had the option Nick mentions to toggle the automatic insertion of a space after a full stop then the need for the backspace(s) would be removed Told you it would get confusing, but hopefully you can understand the problem.
