Hi Roy, I think it might be an advantage to us to know what you are using to view the scans for transcription. For instance, if you are using a powerful tool such as Photoshop etc, then the advice that can be offered is a lot different than if you are using Windows Viewer etc. For the verification, I would strongly recommend the latest version of BMDVerify, as this has inbuilt functions for tilting the image, and I can say from personal experience that it's a wonderful inclusion.
