If anyone sends a message to a Rootsweb mailing list and subsequently realises it was a mistake, there is a simple procedure whereby the person who sent the message can get it removed from the mailing list archive. Should you ever find yourself in this position, and wish to contact the list admin for advice about how to remove the unwanted message, take the mailing list address - for example [email protected] and then insert a hyphen and the word admin between the list name and the @ symbol, thus [email protected] and use that email address to contact the person(s) administering the mailing list.
