I've had a query from a transcriber in the Ian Brooke syndicate about this page. About three-quarters of the way down the second column there's a letter A at the end of, and halfway in between, the entries for Handley,Clive and Handley,Colin R. I've suggested transcribing these entries like this: Handley,Clive,Hunt,Hull,2a,586 #COMMENT(2) There is a letter A halfway between and at the end of the entries for Handley,Clive and Handley,Colin R. Handley,Colin R.,Aston,Rowley R.,9b,574 Has anyone got any better ideas ? Cheers, Mike

My guess is that the "A" was typed accidentally while the typist was using the typewriter lever to move to the next line. "A" is at the left side of the keyboard. I would say their hand slipped and hit the shift and "A" keys. The solution using #COMMENT(2) is probably the best, in my humble opinion.
