I belong to many lists and only FreeBMD does not show the list tag referred to by David Mayall. I never have any difficulty with reading the subject line with the tag in place. I do actually filter my email as David suggests, but it would certainly make it easier to sort messages if Rootsweb had a consistent policy to show a tag. I subscribe to many mailing lists and the easiest to cleanly filter are those that have the listname within square brackets. Would be happy to see all emails from [FreeBMD-Admins] even if this lengthens the Subject line.
