    3. Richard As far as I'm aware they relate to supplementary entries ie Official changes to the original entry. You can also get occasions where the change is made in later years so you get something like "See D/74 0345/S" Brian On 12 Sep 2011 at 11:58, Richard Oliver wrote: > Hi: > > An interesting bunch of answers, I'm sure all correct. 3. Yes, they are supplementary entries. However, not all late amendments result in entries like this. 1947-B2-W-409 shows an example of a post-registration change that didn't produce a "/S" entry. (the third name on the page and the "1" inserted entry both refer to my mother). I believe, but I can't be certain, that corrections to an entry, and column 10 name changes by baptism don't result in a new entry. Changes that require a new registration to replace the old entry (such as adding, removing or changing a father) do result in a "/S" -----Original Message----- From: freebmd-admins-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:freebmd-admins-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of Brian M Clark Sent: 12 September 2011 12:30 To: freebmd-admins@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: Page 1954B4-A-0002 Richard As far as I'm aware they relate to supplementary entries ie Official changes to the original entry.
